It is always a privilege when a fellow photographer hires you to capture their family! Baby Rylee's Mom actually contacted me about a newborn session before she knew she was pregnant. She wins the award for most advance notice but I'm a pre-planner too so I would be the same way. lol. She and her husband were trying for another baby and she wanted all the details on my newborn sessions so she knew what to plan for. I always say it is never too early to book your newborn session and I still stand by that. It was only a few weeks later that she found out they were expecting and we excitedly starting planning the newborn session.
One of her main requests aside from photos of baby with big sister Ellie, was the incorporation of my miniature Canon camera prop. Ask and ye shall receive. 😂

Big sister Ellie was so excited to show off her baby sister and fascinated by my entire setup process. Her inquisitive 4-year-old mind came up with questions faster than I could answer them. lol.

I always encourage parents and siblings to take part in the newborn session, but not every child is thrilled to be photographed with the new baby. ha. Ellie had none of those reservations, as you can see, and it certainly doesn't hurt that Mommy is a photographer as well so she's used to being photographed!

As a Mom to two girls now, Autumn wanted girly, pink, and florals for Rylee's newborn portraits. Check, check, and check.

Baby Rylee made me work a bit for the last couple of poses but when you're that cute, you can totally get away with it! 😉 I'm nothing if not a well of infinite patience. The results were more than worth it!

And just like that, they're a beautiful family of four! 💗 Another precious girl to love and cherish. I cannot wait to watch Rylee grow and look forward to hopefully photographing her again!
